A colourful paper owl and christmas tree deocrated with snowflakes as part of a garland to make at the Second Sunday craft drop-in

Drop in between 11am – 1pm each second Sunday of the month and enjoy a different activity based on various themes related to The MERL and its collections.

Why not bring a picnic or enjoy lunch in The MERL café too?

8 December – Make a Winter Woodland Themed Festive Garland

This month’s Second Sunday Drop-in craft session is inspired by a woodland theme.
Imagine a woodland where there are lots of trees. Is there a squirrel looking for acorns or an owl perched in a tree?
Imagine what else you can see and have fun creating and making the elements for your garland.  Take it away to decorate your home for the festive season.
Choose from a selection of templates, or cut out your own shapes with coloured paper.

Suitable for families with children aged 3 – 12 (we encourage accompanying grown-ups to help their children). All craft materials included.
