Small group visits

Who is it for?

Groups of up to 15. Groups of more than 15 people must book the Blackbird Package.

What can we do?

  • Browse the galleries at your own pace. Follow our new Our Green Stories trail to explore environmental issues through the displays.
  • Discover the ‘Community Voices’ displays in The Nook
  • Visit the garden and meet the chickens
  • Enjoy a treat in the café & gift shop

How much is it?

£5 suggested donation per person.

If you are planning a visit, even with a small group, please book as far in advance as possible. It helps to know that you are coming so that we can ensure that you have the best possible experience in our galleries and in the café. We sometimes have large groups of students, or special events, that mean we might not be able to accommodate your visit comfortably, particularly due to limited indoor café seating. You are welcome to use the picnic benches in the garden. For groups of over 10 people, we highly recommend booking the Blackbird Package.

Drop us an email or call us on 0118 378 3112 so that we can discuss your requirements.

If you book, we will provide:

  • Reserved car parking (two or three spaces) or minibus parking in The MERL carpark.
  • Reserved tables in the museum café. A selection of English teas, quality coffee, cakes, cream teas, sandwiches and snacks are available.
