Join us in the ‘Your Place Our Place’ Urban Room in Broad Street Mall

This month the Youth Panel will be meeting as part of the Urban Room’s Culture and Heritage Week and it will be an opportunity to raise awareness of the Youth Panel to other young people and the general public who drop by. We will be joined by Reading’s High Street Heritage Action Zone project team, researching Reading’s Hidden Histories through creativity.

More about the Youth Panel

Our Youth Panel, for young people aged 14 – 18, works across The MERL and Reading Museum as part of Museums Partnership Reading’s youth programme. We meet on the third Thursday of the month during term time to work on a variety of exciting projects which are great for developing a range of transferable skills. Our panel members influence current projects and programming and are change-makers within Reading’s culture and heritage sector.
