Magical Lights

About this event

Explore our galleries and garden after dark, transformed by lights. Make a lantern, discover a night-time version of our Rat Trail, and enjoy light and shadow activities, with illuminated surprises along the way.

Additional information

• Suitable for families with children aged 3 – 11
• Booking essential
• Timed arrival slots from 5.15–7.45pm, with each slot lasting 60 minutes
• All children must be accompanied by an adult and we encourage parents/carers to assist with all activities. Accompanying adults are free
• Some activities are outdoors, so please ensure you dress for the weather!

Magical Lights, My Way

Alongside the main event (5.15–7.45pm), we run an earlier session as part of our Museums, My Way programme, featuring extra sensory provisions for neurodivergent visitors and their loved ones (4:00pm to 5:00pm).
