Museums Partnership Reading

Museums Partnership Reading (MPR) is a collaborative, wide-ranging programme of activities by Reading Museum and The Museum of English Rural Life. It is made possible by funding through National Portfolio Organisation investment by Arts Council England’s National, with support from Reading Borough Council and the University of Reading.

Since its formation in 2018, following a range of joint projects by the two museums, MPR has sought to improve opportunities for diverse local communities to engage in cultural experiences and heritage through public programmes, high-quality learning opportunities, online experiences, and investment in volunteering.
