Get creative at home with Easter fun inspired by The MERL and the University of Reading Special Collections from 2 – 18 April

Cook up a storm in the kitchen with seasonal recipes, get stuck into our craft-along videos and sit back and relax with our rural life colouring in sheets.

Craft-along videos

We hope you enjoy our springtime inspired activity videos – remember that you can pause the video at any point you like!

Newspaper pots

To make these plant pots you will need: a jar, newspaper, compost and seeds.

 

Wax resist paintings

For this activity you will need: watercolours, a paintbrush, white card or paper, a wax crayon or candle.

Easter baskets

For the basket activity you will need: wool, felt or card, a basket template (download and print), tape, glue, scissors, a hole punch (younger children should use scissors and the hole punch with adult supervision).
