Friday Fledglings brand logo – a cartoon bird jumps through autumnal leaves

Since 2016, Friday Fledglings has been a cornerstone of our garden’s weekly life.

Each Friday in the school term, Fledglings sets the stage for toddlers, parents, grandparents, and childminders to gather in the garden for outdoor learning – discovering the joys of the great outdoors and building relationships with nature that can last a lifetime.

Ahead of the 2026-27 school year, we spent some time over the summer wearing our creative hats, reimagining how we present Fledglings to the world, and figuring out the best ways of showcasing creativity, curiosity, and the natural world.

Today, we’re thrilled to share a new logo and brand for Friday Fledglings, developed with our creative agency Studio Noon and illustrator Meg Dupont.

A new brand

The new Fledglings design revolve around a new illustrated Fledgling. And we hope you find them as absolutely adorable as we do.

So much of our work and collections are about human creativity, so we were passionate about the opportunity to work with an illustrator to bring the character of our sessions to life. Take a look through some of Meg’s earlier sketches before we arrived at the finished design!

As we’re entering autumn, we’ll be starting the year with a very autumnal-looking Fledgling jumping through some crunchy leaves. Yet Friday Fledglings happens all-year round – the outdoor learning continues through the winter months (in slightly more layers) before returning for spring and summer.

As the months change, so will the Fledgling’s outfit and environment. Keep your eye for future designs in the seasons ahead!
