Magical Lights

Explore our galleries and garden after dark, transformed by lights. Make a lantern, discover our Night-Time Rat Trail, enjoy light and shadow activities and find illuminated surprises along the way.

• Suitable for families with children aged 3 – 11
• Booking essential
• Timed arrival slots from 5.15–7.45pm, with each slot lasting 60 minutes
• All children must be accompanied by an adult and we encourage parents/carers to assist with all activities. Accompanying adults free.
• Some activities are outdoors, so please ensure you dress for the weather!

Choose from two versions: the main event (5.15–7.45pm), or an earlier session with sensory provisions for neurodivergent visitors and their loved ones (4:00pm to 5:00pm).
