Changing Perspectives in Food and Farming

In 2021 we produced Changing Perspectives in the Countryside, a blog series highlighting the work, lives, and experiences of people of colour in the countryside: from ornithologists and environmentalists, to growers and agricultural workers.

This year, we’re expanding that project with Changing Perspectives in Food and Farming, a new series of explorations that reveals the stories of people of colour working in contemporary food and farming. From urban planters and community builders, to pig farmers and scientists, we learn how contemporary agriculturalists of colour are tackling global issues like environmental change and sustainable production while paving the way for more equitable and inclusive food communities in our society.
