Dr Ciara Healy, Lecturer in Art at the University of Reading, explores rural approaches to survival through protective objects found in the Museum’s collection and elsewhere. Join Ciara as she reveals the concealed, explores art inspired by sympathetic magic and sheds light on objects whose complex lives resonate with those of the animals, plants and places that surround them.
