Rat Trail
Can you spot the 12 rats hidden in our galleries?
For many years, the Rat Trail has been one of our most popular activities for visitors young and old alike.
Now, discover a reimagined version of the Rat Trail complete with a new set of rats, wearing beautiful costumes that were painstakingly designed by our team. Each outfit represents a different aspect of historic rural childhood: from farmhands, to chimney climbers, to a countryside evacuee.
The Rat Trail reopens to all at the beginning of the Easter holiday on 28 March.

The Rat Trail has been made possible through the generous support of Museums Partnership Reading and Arts Council England. Check back soon for more news (and rats)!
