Miniature Landscapes

Experimental Watercolour Workshop with Linda Saul

About this event

In this workshop, discover how to create imaginative, semi-abstract landscapes using experimental, granulating watercolour techniques. Working small, you will explore ways to let pigment and water interact, producing rich textures and unexpected effects.

You’ll begin by generating expressive skies and landforms, embracing the unpredictable nature of granulating watercolour. Then, we will build on these foundations with added details to refine your miniature landscape. This workshop is about playful exploration and not traditional watercolour rules.

Please note – this workshop is not for absolute beginners and some knowledge of watercolour is required. Please bring your own brushes and palettes. You are also welcome to bring your own watercolours if you have them. We will provide the granulating paints and paper.
