About this event

We regularly work with local community organisations, using our collections to inspire creative projects that bring people together and promote wellbeing.

Our ‘Community Voices’ display showcases the wonderful, creative, and thought-provoking responses of amazing participants from projects throughout the year to our collections.

The Wonky Wall Hanging

20 January – 24 May 2026

The Wonky Wall Hanging was created through workshops with The MERL Youth Panel (2022–25), as part of the UKRI-funded Agroforestry Futures Treescapes Project, drawing on research carried out at The MERL. This year’s Youth Panel are now curating the display and offering their own responses.
