Drawing of a seated male nude and two arms by Jacopo Bertoia

Join museum and gallery experts, including curators, conservators, and scholars, for a free, online deep dive into a selection of objects in the University of Reading’s Art Collection. In each talk, we will take a closer look at a specific work of art and hear new insights and untold stories from our specialist speakers. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions.

In this talk, Victoria Stevens (Subject Lead for Books and Library Materials at West Dean College of Arts, Design, Crafts and Conservation) will be talking about the physical qualities of blue paper, using our drawing by Jacopo Bertoia, Sheet of Studies with Seated Male Nude and Two Armsas a jumping off point.

Grab a glass of wine or a cup of tea, and don’t miss this unique opportunity to get a closer look at the art world from the comfort of your own home.
