During Reading Climate Festival, adults and young people aged 14+ can join us for these events which explore the potential of agroforestry (farming and forestry) to mitigate climate change and enhance biodiversity with Dr. Jen Clarke (anthropologist, artist and educator, leading the arts research on a multi-disciplinary project about Agroforestry in the UK.)

This Panel event will draw from exciting current research. The panel, comprised of scientists, artists and researchers, will explore the intersection of agroforestry (farming and forestry) and visual planning tools. We’ll examine the potential of agroforestry to mitigate climate change and enhance biodiversity an consider tangible experiences and changes associated with more trees and forest.  Together, we’ll explore strategies for planning a sustainable future, envisioning what lies ahead, and imagining the sensory impact of increased tree cover.
